The Légion d’Honneur order is a five-pointed star with doubled rays. The star is surrounded by an oak and laurel wreath. On the obverse, there is an Emperor’s portrait with lettering: "NAPOLÉON EMPEREUR DES FRANÇAIS". On the reverse, there is an eagle image and lettering: "HONNEUR ET PATRIE". Weight: 0.6 oz., 14 g.
