An imperial Russian St. George award sword (shashka) with a German blade that was engraved. The scabbard is stitched leather with gilt bronze mounts. Mounted with a miniature of St. George’s Cross, the hilt is engraved with the Russian words "For Bravery" and the cipher of Nicholas II. On the forte, the blade is inscribed "Order W.Sabinin Moskau".
Dimensions: L: 37 3/16 in., (94.5 cm.)
Condition: Good, signs of wear with age on the scabbard, some platina on hilt, blade is slightly pitted
