A saddle axe (tabarzin) designed to be used in close combat was usually carried beneath a horsemen’s saddle. The blade is decorated with gold inlay, the shaft is made of wood with hand-hammered brass mounts.
Dimensions: L: 24 1/64 in., (61 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
