Full dress uniform of a Major General of the Red Army Artillery, M1945. It was in this form that the marshals and generals of the Red Army participated in the Victory Parade in 1945. The creation of such a uniform indicates a high level of reverence for the military traditions from the past during the final period of the war. This set of dress uniforms for generals and marshals of the Red Army was introduced and decided by the Main Quartermaster Directorate of the Red Army No. 1412 in April 1945. Canceled for generals and marshals of aviation and tank troops by order of the Minister of the Armed Forces of the USSR in February 24, 1949, for all others by order of the Minister of Defense of the USSR No. 45 in April 9, 1954.
