Oleg Sokolov (Ukrainian/ Soviet, 1919-1990) watercolor painting on board, Requiem for Elena Brovadskaya, 1976-1988. Signed, dated, and titled lower left. Additionally inscribed in the Cyrillic and stamped on the back. Sokolov is a Soviet artist, poet, painter, and graphic artist who stood at the second Odessa avant-garde origins.
Dimensions: 16 3/4 X 23 1/4 in.
Condition: Overall condition good. Shows signs of wear.
