Antique Russian silver teacup and saucer. The cup has a wonderful design with a stylized handle in the form of a curved reed stem, the surface decorated with gilding, engraved floral patterns, and a commemorative inscription in Russian: "For Tanya from Father 25 / XII 1912." The top rim and the base of the cup are adorned with a row of embossed fleur-de-lis. Hallmarks on the cup: 84 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the left; the maker’s initials "AF" (Cyrillic). Hallmarks on the saucer: 84 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right; the maker’s mark: "Bril’ and Gershman" (1908-1917 гг). Weight: 7.7 oz., 220 gr.
