A Rare Russian or Caucasian horse racing trophy tray. The tray is decorated with a characteristic Caucasian floral motif (probably of the Dagestan origin) featuring a horse medallion in the middle. The tray is hallmarked by the maker in Cyrillic: I.A. dated 1861, St. George (Moscow), GUBKIN. Weight: 59.6 oz., 1690 g.
Dimensions: L: 23 1/2 x 14 5/8 in., (57 x 37)
Condition: Excellent, no damage to niello or silver surface
