A miniature portrait of a seated man painted by Alyn Williams in original brass frame. Footnote: Alyn Williams was one of the most successful miniature painters at the turn-of-the-century. He was born in Wales and spent his career in Washington, DC and England. Alyn was a student at the Slade School of Art in London and the Academy Julian in Paris with Jean-Paul Laurens and Benjamin Constant.
