A late 19th-century hand-painted porcelain match-holder in the form of a coachman’s hat and a pair of mittens on a round stand. Under the base stamped with red overglazed factory mark "Gardner" unred the imperial double-headed eagle, impressed number and factory mark. A similar statuette was published in the “Gardner. Porcelain Plastic ", Moscow 2002, p. 261.
Dimensions: H: 2 3/4 in., (7 cm.)
Condition: Very good no chips or cracks
