Machine embroidered in silk shoulder/sleeve patch worn by Legion of French Volunteers Against Bolshevism formed by collaborationist volunteers from Vichy France to participate in the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941. It was officially designated the 638th Infantry Regiment (Infanterieregiment 638).
