A beautifully executed steel engraving reproduction of Raphael’s fresco in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican: the battle between Constantine and Maxentius in Ponte Milvio. Marked with "Raphael pinx" at the lower left and the "A.H. Payne sc" at the lower right. An engraving framed in matte. Circa 19th century.
