The tankard in the form of a cylinder expanding towards the bottom is decorated on the sides with embossed overlays in the form of stylized stars with round medallions in the center. Around the central overlay, there is an engraved inscription in Russian: "Priz Gosudarstvennogo Konnozavodstva" (Prize of the State Horse Breeding). The tankard features a gilt interior. Hallmarks: "I.N" (Cyrillic), hallmark with initials "I.E" (Cyrillic), date 1872, 84 silver standard. Weight: 38.2 oz., 1080 g.
