A massive Indian 18th-century firangi sword with the hilt missing its original gold decoration with some traces of the original koftgari work left. A Wootz guard shows significant patination. One of the two sides rosettes beneath the guard is missing. A formidable straight pointy double-edged blade bears what appears to be the Mysore Armoury marks.
Dimensions : L: 43 3/8 in., (110 cm.)
Condition : The blade is slightly pitted, the grip is missing the original wrapping, the scabbard has been restored
