A Caucasian shashka with thick engraved floral motif silver mounts finished with niello. A characteristic eared pommel decorated in suite. Single edged curved blade with two grooves on both sides with gurda marks. Wooden scabbard covered with original dark brown leather. Circa 1900.
Dimensions: L: 37 5/8 in., (95.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good original sword with leather slightly worn, blade cutting edge has minor chips
