A silver-mounted kindjal dagger from Chechnya. Ca. end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th XX cc. The blade was made in the village of Starie Atagi. The mounts are of silver decorated with engraving, gilding and niello. The blade is featuring a characteristic Chechen geometrical etched pattern.
