An Iranian Qajar, period dagger (khanjar) with characteristic carved hilt depicting a crowned man on one side and a standing couple on the other with two cartouches of Koranic inscriptions in Arabic "nasr min Allah wa fath qareeb" (Surah LXI, verse 13). Curved Damascus steel blade with central ridge. Wooden scabbard covered with green leather, brass ball-shaped tip.
Dimensions: L: 13 3/5 in., (34.5 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with expected signs of wear
