A carved, decorative Sali Fijian war club. This fine example has a curved, flat head with a spur, and is carved with a geometric pattern containing parallel sections of jagged lines, and some with notches. The handle flares slightly towards the end. Provenance: Collection of Edward Frey, the author of The Kris: Mystic Weapon of the Malay World (Images of Asia).
Dimensions : Overall length: 42 1/2 in. (108 cm.)
Condition : Very good with, one small chip on the spur.
