Badge of the Lifeguards of the 4th Rifle Regiment of the Imperial Family. A gold cross of the Emergency Volunteer Corps, embossed rim with crowned monogram of the Emperor Nicholas I. Rays are embossed in polished Cyrillic inscription "FOR FAITH AND TSAR". Russian Imperial gold hallmark "56" and goldsmith’s mark "A.O." on the reverse of the badge and on the screw nut. Weight: 1.26 oz., (35.6 gr.)
