Brass hilt with engraved initials "BCN" on the pommel, celluloid grip with twisted wire, straight unmarked blade with a wide fuller on each side, maker’s inscription on the rib "Coulaux & Cie. Klingenthal, France", metal nickel plated scabbard with suspension ring. Complete with original period felt case (damaged by moth).
