A 19th century Turkish (Ottoman) pala sword with massive Damascus steel blade with pronounced spine decorated with gold inlay. Blade is curved, single-edged with double-edged yalman. The blade is decorated with gold floral motif inlay at forte and gold cartouches on both sides. Grip scales are made of horn. crossguard and scabbard mounts are made of brass decorated with engraving. Scabbard is made of wood covered with back brass wire stitched leather.

Condition: Very good with a small piece of brass bottom fitting missing
