This exquisite figural porcelain candlestick was made in Germany by the famous Meissen porcelain company circa 1900. The candlestick depicts a charming young lady in a pale green dress which stands leaning on a large flower stalk. The candlestick is embellished with skilfully crafted and polychrome hand-painted relief flowers and fruits. The Rococo style stand is also decorated with gilding. Marked on the bottom with a blue underglaze stamp and incised number 716 75.
