An antique Russian gilt-silver sugar bowl of a rounded shape with a hinged handle. The body of the bowl is decorated with vertical gadroons and a relief pattern of garlands of oak leaves and ribbons. Engraved with the date 1900 and Cyrillic initials "E. Sh." Mounted on four spherical legs. Hallmarks: 84 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right and other Russian hallmarks. Weight: 10.4 oz., 296 gr.
