Original uncleaned N.C.O. sword with blade dated 1863 marked in by "C. ROBY" West Chelmsford, MA and "F.S.S." (FREDERICK S. STRONG) inspection marks on the blade and knuckle guard. Brass hilt. The sword is in original uncleaned condition with expected oxidation and patina. No scabbard.
