A weapon of a scarce type, designed for braking through helmets and lighter armor. With its well-forged steelhead of a thorn shape to one side and long strong hook to the other. Wooden haft with the original velvet cover and steel strip over the seam. Steel handle. Persia, 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 25 63/64 in., (66 cm.)
Condition: Very good, two rivets missing on the shaft.
