An Indo-Persian hand-forged steel engraved mace with a large pear-shaped head surmounted by a raised bud finial, a facet octagonal in cross-section haft enclosed by a rounded cusp. All richly decorated throughout with engraving of foliate and religious motifs. 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 31 1/2 in., (80 cm.)
Condition: Good with light rust to the surface.
