Rare set of four plates called “char ayna” Punjab, 19th century. Of characteristic form, four plates wrought of embossed silver with rolled edges and borders. The set consists of two large plates and two smaller ones with a curved cutaway to the top. Silver plates are decorated with chased floral and geometric patterns.
