A fine 18th or 19th-century Indo-Persian Khula Khud helmet hand-forged out of hemispherical steel. Decorated with a spike finial on the top and two plume-holders on each side. At the front of the helmet is an adjustable nose guard, complete with a functional retainer screw that allows the arrow to move up or down for adjustment. Towards the rear, there is a neck-defense chain-mail crafted out of rounded links. The skull is beautifully decorated with hand-engraved calligraphic Arabic inscriptions and stylized floral designs. The inside of the helmet is complete with a red fabric liner.
