A tiger-tooth dagger with a tapering double-edged steel blade with pronounced medial ridge, and reinforced tip, the ricasso on both sides are decorated with engraved foliate, carved hilt scales with three iron studs. The wooden scabbard is covered with black stitched leather and pierced brass fittings are perfectly preserved. North India, 18th century.
Dimensions: L: 13 3/4 in., (34.9 cm.)
Condition: Very good. The scabbard is slightly split at the throat.
