Kaskara with fullered steel blade etched with Arabic cursive inscriptions, straight quillon guard, leather-covered hilt. Dark-brown stitched leather scabbard. This type of sword was used in battles around the Sultanate of Baguirmi in the 1890s.
Dimensions: L: 43 3/8 in., (110 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with expected signs of wear.
