Lot 408:
A fine Austrian or German wheel lock rifle converted into a flintlock hunting rifle. The wooden stock is mounted in brass, inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Decorated with a carved scene of a dog hunting on a wild boar and a deer. The steel lock is engraved and inscribed. Circa the early 18th century.
Dimensions: L: 52 3/4 in., (134 cm.)
Condition: Very good considering the age.
