English porcelain snuff box of rococo cartouche shape manufactured in the Meissen chinoiserie manner. Decorated on the exterior with six quatrefoil cartouches depicting scenes of a Chinese master and his student in orange, red and black. The inside hinged cover shows a similar scene with three figures. With the gilt interior design and the gilt mount with a row of beading. 18th century.
Dimensions: L: 2 1/2 in., ( 6.3 cm.) W: 1 5/8 in., ( 4.1 cm.)
Condition: The box is in a very good condition, no crackr
