A pair of Empire ormolu and dark patina bronze urn vases, each decorated with gilt bronze overlays depicting little satyrs and gilded beaded rims on the top. Raised on a spreading fluted socle and a red marble plinth mounted with an ormolu decor depicting seated griffins in a diamond-shaped frame. Paris, French Restoration or Charles X reign period, Ca. 1820-30.
Dimensions: H: 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.)
Condition: Very good condition, minor signs of wear.
