Jean Albert Pougny (Russian / French, 1892-1956), oil on canvas laid on board painting "Characters and parrot on a white desk." Signed by the artist on the lower right. Housed in a richly decorated wood and gesso frame featuring a metal plaque with a name of the artist. Please refer to the paper labels attached to the back. Provenance: Millon & Associes, RUSSIAN ART, 05.31.2022, lot 60. Reference: Jean Albert Pougny was a Russian-French artist who radically changed his artistic style several times from avant-garde, cubism, futurism and suprematism to lyrical primitivism in line with the direction in which also worked Pierre Bonnard and Edouard Vuillard.

Condition: Very good, no apparent signs of restoartion.
