Extremely rare Georgian sword with silver inlaid and gilt-silver niello mounts. The blade is made from Damascus steel and decorated with fine silver koftgari work. The handle and the scabbard mounts are decorated with beautifully finished gilded silver and niello work.Georgia, middle of the 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 34 1/8 in., (86.5 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with the blade slightly pitted.
