Pressured cast bimetal Neoclassical wall plate or tazza featuring bronze border and copper center decorated with a highly detailed Greek mythology scene ‘Triumph of Virtue’ depicting Athena, the patron goddess of Athens, recognized as the goddess of wisdom and handicrafts, featured with her helmet, surrounded by eight worshippers. Equipped with a ring on the back to be hung on the wall.France, circa 1800.
Dimensions: D: 13 1/8 in., (33.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall with minor scratches at the rim.
