A fine pencil and ink drawing on paper by Stavros Papasavvas (Greek, 1928 — 2018). The work presented for sale is a surrealist figure study.Signed and dated ‘1962,’ on the right corner.Note: Stavros Papasavvas studied at the School of Fine Arts in Athens from 1947 — 1952, where he won first prize in sculpture. In 1953, he attended the School of Fine Arts in Paris. He lived in Sweden, then in the US, in Boston in 1962, where he taught sculpture at the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Essentially shares his time between France, Switzerland and Greece. In recent years passed some time in Avlonari, Evia where plans to create a museum of visual arts. Member of EETE.
