An exceptional pair of coral-mounted flintlock pistols, ca. 1840. Tapering barrels decorated with rich silver inlay, marked on the breach by the gunsmith. Full stock profusely inlaid with pierced foliate and floral silver plates highlighted with red corals. Original ramrods.Made by a European gunsmith for the Eastern market.Ca. 1840.
