Georges Lavrov (1895-1991), a bronze sculpture depicting a resting antelope. Mounted on a rectangular base. This sculpture was created between 1927 and 1935 during Lavrov’s artistic training in Paris.
Georges Lavrov, or Lavroff, was a Russian and French sculptor. His works are in numerous museum collections, most notably in the collection of The State Tretyakov Gallery.
Base: 16 1/2 x 4 in., (42 x 10 cm.)
