AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 225:
The blade is of a characteristic form, double-edged, with a wide single-fuller on each side, decorated with brass or copper inlay. The handle is made of two polished horn grip scales fastened to the tang by two steel rivets, the scabbard is made of two wooden scales covered with black leather.
Late 19th century.
L: 26 3/8 in., (67 cm.)
Condition: Very good, scabbard leather has been replaced.
