AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 238:
A Middle-Eastern silver-mounted flintlock pistol. The trigger guard and grip mount are made of hammered silver. The barrel from breech to the muzzle is fully covered with chased silver. The ornament is traditionally geometrical and elaborate. The lock is also decorated with the same ornament in a suite.
Cir. 19th century.
L: 16 in., ( 41 cm.)
Condition: Very good.
