Lot 246:
A highly decorated Balkan kubur flintlock pistol from the 19th century. The smoothbore is 9mm in diameter. Almost the entirety of the pistol is brass with intricate floral engraving. The barrel, lockplate, and locking mechanism are all steel, with the lockplate being engraved throughout. There is minor pitting and rust across the barrel and more substantial rust on the lock plate, partially obscuring the engraving.
