AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 254:
Flintlock pistol mounted in engraved silver, signed by Yussef, Ottoman Empire, dated 1288 Hegira (1870), with steel round barrel, attached to the stock by two silver bands with openwork and engraved decoration. The walnut stock is inlaid with pierced silver bands forming a decoration of serrated and arabesque leaves.
L: 18 3/4 in., (47.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good with minor signs of wear.
