A long flintlock pistol with chiseled silver fittings and wire inlay. Ottoman Empire, early 19th century. This ornate pistol was made in the Balkans in the early 19th century. The barrel of the pistol is round. French-style iron flintlock decorated with engraving. The walnut stock has a flared butt, decorated with beautiful silver inlay and an embossed silver pommel. A silver pipe decorated with embossing and engraving connects the edge of the barrel to the wooden stock.

Condition: Good overall, silver mounts have minor dents.
