This 18th or 19th century Ottoman dagger has a silver mounted hilt of the usual type, a slightly curved blade with a pronounced central edge, and gold inlay decoration at the forte with verse one from Surah Al-Fath. The scabbard is made of wood mounted with silver.
L: 21 1/2 in., (55 cm.)
Condition: Very good, silver mounts are slightly worn.
