AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 327:
A Turkish shashka sword with a slightly curved single-edged blade with three narrow fullers. The characteristic eared silver hilt of the Asiatic type is made of silver decorated with engraving and niello. The scabbard is made of two wooden scales covered with original stitched black leather. The mounts are of silver decorated in a suite with engraved floral motifs finished with niello. Two loose suspension rings.
