AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 338:
A pair of American Masonic Knights Templar ceremonial swords with decorated blades. One holds the name of the owner John. T. Gardner, has a wood handle with an enameled cross on a metal plate, a knight head pommel, and a guard with the image of an eagle in the center with starts to the edges. Manufactured by the Ames Company, Chicopee, Massachusetts. Late 19th century. The other sword holds the lettering Cohannel Lodge No. 17 and has a wood handle, a brass knight head pommel, and a guard with the letters AOUW. Comes with a decorated brass scabbard.

Condition: Very good and Good, some patina and one sword is missing scabbard.
