Provenance: according to the current owner the painting was "bought from Property of the Late Mr Harmandar Singh Thind – chief scoutmaster of Kenya and Lions club president London. Passed down to her daughter Mrs Arvindarjit Kaur Sidhu, after her sudden passing it came into the hands of her husband Mr Iqbalinder Singh Sidhu Harmandar Singh emigrated to London in 1964 from Nairobi Kenya"
