AUCTION 45: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR

This set of Victorian era leg armor consists primarily of steel and is adorned with intricate foliate designs across the front, along with multiple depictions of a mythological beast. The back of the greaves is mounted with hinges to allow the calf section to swivel open and closed. The foot section is semi-articulated, primarily at the ankle.
L: 35 in., (89 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with a nice patina on the surface. Surface rust on the inside of the pieces. Hinges can be somewhat stiff but are still functioning.
