A characteristically shaped Yemeni jambiya with the typical curved steel blade with raised midrib and an ‘I’ shaped horn handle adorned with five decorative studs, the sixth being missing. The dagger is kept within an ornately chased and embossed silver scabbard with various geometric patterns throughout in typical Islamic fashion.
L: 19 in., (48.3 cm.)
Condition: Good overall. Missing one stud on pommel. Some chips and wear to handle. Minor denting to scabbard. Some pitting on blade consistent with age.
