AUCTION 50: ANTIQUE MILITARIA, FALL 2024
Lot 227:
The kindjals are all of a triangular shape with wooden hilts. The scabbards do not appear to be the original make for the blades. One is leather with a steel ring and the other is leather with brass mounts.
The machete is housed in its original scabbard which is made of leather with some decorative etching.
Longest: 22 in., (56 cm.)
Condition: The machete is rusted throughout and the leather of both the scabbard and handle are degrading. The kindjal handles are worn and chipping in places. The kindjal scabbards are possibly not the originals and are worn.
